Our home was on the cover of “Kansas City Homes & Style” magazine. December issue. Wow, I mean really, pick me up off the floor! This all started last year, when one of my designers, Brenda Freeburn with Picture Perfect Interiors asked if I would be interested in having her friend, Renee (Editor in Chief of Kansas City Homes & Style) come see my home decorated for the holidays for “maybe” an article in the 2019 holiday issue. My home is not the typical home featured in the publication. After all, we live in Johnson County and the homes that my designers and I work in are by far more impressive than our home. So to even be considered was so fun, and then to make the cover and a several page spread on top of that, is beyond my wildest dreams.
